I know summer is still a little ways away, but I can't help it. Here's a super cute outfit that would be perfect for work. Business like, and still casual. I looooove the jade accessories to add that little something. What do you like most about the outfit? xoxo

School time is a stressful time. I always find myself looking more and more tired as each days passes. Considering school has devoured my life, extra sleep just isn't an option at times. So I found a few add ons for my morning routine (all from Benefit) to help with those 6AM mornings, when a cold shower and some quick makeup just doesn't do it for you. Or if you are like me and only have 10 minutes to get ready and be out the door. Enjoy! xo
The first item is an eyebrow pencil. I've tried a powder one and it always takes way too long to fill in and make sure it's even. This might not help make you look more awake, but it honestly saves you a ton of time.
Instant Brown Pencil + Good News on the box: this is your perfect brow
pencil. It glides on easily and leaves a natural powder-like finish. Comes with
a special blending spooile, in three shades to complement every hair colour
The second item is an under-eye brightener. It's perfect to top off your concealer and so far, I love it! Super easy to use, quick application, and best of all, it works.
Ooh La Lift + FYI on the box: Looks like an instant eyelift! & With raspberry extract, this is your under-eye brightening boost.
The last, and certainly not least, is a different type of instant eye brightener. I did a post about this one quite some time ago and so I thought I should remind everyone just how great it is. It's perfect to add in the creases of your eyes after your concealer and before mascara. And it's a nice substitute to the usual powder, it stays on and only takes 5 seconds to do!
Eye Bright + A must have

I have been waiting a little while to officially announce some really exciting news! I recently started working as an in-house blogger for Vancouver Fashion Week! And by recently, I mean had my interview on Monday morning and I JUST had my first meeting this afternoon! The blog is something that will be ongoing throughout the year and will be focusing on a variety of fabulous things. We will be covering the shows as well, but from a more personal perspective and let you guys know what really happened (Fashion Week is running from April 12th-17th). Let us know what you liked and what you would like to see more of - all comments welcomed.
Over the next 2 weeks watch out for a ton of new stuff!! The best way to keep an eye out for what's going on and to be the first to know all about behind the scenes is to follow Chanel & Caviar and VFW2011 on Twitter. We can't wait. Also, tell your friends. Really. Tell all of them. xoxo

Today we will look at Vogue covers from Brazil (Kate Moss included). Of course, the beautiful Adraina Lima is from here, so I couldn't resist putting up one with her (August 2003 being my favourite of Adriana)! I hope you enjoy and please feel free to leave links of your favs or if you find earlier editions!
Stay tuned for tomorrow and a visit further up North. xoxo

Normally I like to post an editorial from a magazine around this time each month. However, I found a bunch of old Vogue Magazine covers that I thought would be fun to post! We will start with the UK and then move to a few different regions where Vogue is published.
It's incredible how may places print their own publication of Vogue and how Kate Moss has landed pretty much on the cover of each region (in the UK, she's been on the cover at least once every year since 1993). Which ones are your favourites? xo

This past week has been Spring Break and I have been enjoying the time off. But since Monday is the official day back, I decided that I should also get back on to the blogging wagon. The break was amazing. I had a great time doing pretty much nothing and everything at the same time. Vancouver is typically super rainy this time of year, but this break it has actually warmed up (a bit) and considering the amount of free time I've had, I've come up with some great ideas for new posts.
One thing I love about spring are the colours that come out. I tend to wear a lot of black and so when spring comes around, I pull out my colourful scarves, brighter nail polish, and a few other cute accessories that don't fall into the black, white, or grey "colour" category. I decided to share my first haul of the season (more to come) that include some really inexpensive pieces! What colours do you love this spring?? xo
